Care & Repurposing
Candle Care:
- Trim candle before each use to 1/4” (5mm) keeping wax free of charred bits.
- Burn candle for at least 2 hours on the first use. Allowing the wax to melt to the edge of the glass to prevent tunneling.
- Avoid burning candle for more than 4 hours
- Always burn with caution - never leave unattended, place on a stable surface away from flammable objects and keep out of reach from children & pets.
- Store unlit candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
Repurposing Vessel:
After you have enjoyed the candles glow, it’s time to prepare the vessel for a new purpose.
How to remove the wax:
- Make sure the wax has cooled and the vessel is at room temperature before starting the process.
- Take a small bowl of water heated to 140°F and pour the water into the vessel filling it halfway.
- Wait a few minutes to allow the wax time to soften
- Remove the wax and dispose of it in the trash.
- Wash and dry the inside of the vessel
Additionally:
- Do not fill with freezing water below 32°F
- Dishwasher Safe, but Hand-Wash is recommended
- Colored vessels may fade with time and after multiple washes
